Digital is where it’s at – and it’s the most important tool at your disposal when it comes to developing your school’s new entrepreneur society! Here are our top tips for making the most of it.
Social Media
When creating your entrepreneur society, it is recommended that you also create a Facebook page where all members can communicate and share ideas. Joining and following the SA Teen Entrepreneur Facebook Page is also a must. It’s where we share additional reminders and tips for Society/Club members, and it’s the perfect place to ask our team your questions and get prompt, comprehensive answers!
Instagram is another social media platform that may help to enrich your society or club. A picture is worth a thousand words, after all. If the goal is to attract more members, Instagram may be just the platform to help you do that.
Group Chat
Just as in business, communication and collaboration are essential factors within SA Teen entrepreneur societies. The good news is that there are certain digital platforms that can help to make these things easier to do.
Creating a group chat on Whatsapp, for example, is a great idea as most teens will have access to this particular app and will already be familiar with using it. However, Slack is another option to consider, especially if you’d like the benefit of effortless document sharing as well.
Group chat is so important for sending and receiving urgent communication, such as meeting cancellations or re-scheduling. Just remember to use the group chat wisely, and don’t abuse it. Overwhelming members with memes and videos every few minutes is never a smart move!
