The Story of Qirobite™ My Journey So Far
Every company starts somewhere. Some start in offices, while others start in garages. The story of Qirobite™ started in my imagination when I was a young boy. My name is Kgatontle Semunza. I was born on 16 December 2008 in Mahikeng, South Africa. From a young age, I had a big imagination. While at school, I would carry a small extra book where I drew and created things during free periods. I drew soldiers, cars, cities, and sometimes even 3D houses. My drawings were not perfect, but I enjoyed making them. Some of my classmates thought it was strange and laughed at me, but I didn’t mind. I was just having fun creating things. At home, I also used my toys to create stories. Sometimes I imagined shooter movies, car races, or science-fiction adventures with spaceships. My friends and family would sometimes join me and enjoy the stories I made up. Back then, I didn’t know much about technology. Most of my ideas came from my imagination. How I Discovered Game Development One day, while my mother was busy in a meeting, I picked up her phone. There were no games installed, so I opened the Play Store and searched for something to play. That’s when I found an app called Struckd – 3D Game Creator. I downloaded it out of curiosity, and it changed how I saw games. For the first time, I could create a world where characters could move around. I started making small games and sharing them with my friends and family.
Later, I created a small group called TheOnes, where I shared my games and ideas. It wasn’t a big group, but it was my first step toward working with other people. At some point, I started asking myself, “Why aren’t my games on the Play Store like other games?” I became curious about how games were made, so I started watching videos and searching online. That’s when I discovered Roblox Studio. There was one problem: I needed a laptop. For a while, I couldn’t use it. Then my mother got a new laptop for work, and she allowed me to use her old one. I was excited because I could finally try Roblox Studio. At first, it was difficult. There were so many buttons and tools to learn. I also had to learn coding, which was new to me. But I kept trying because I wanted to make my own games.
From Seagreat Studios to Qirobite™
After learning more about game development, I created a group called Seagreat Studios. I invited some friends to work with me on different ideas. We shared ideas, created games, and even held small meetings during free periods at school. We also created a Discord server and later moved to WhatsApp to stay connected. Over time, things changed. Some members moved to other schools, while others became busy. Our group slowly became smaller, but I continued learning and creating. I explored different game engines, including Core Game Engine and Unity. Each one taught me something new, even when things were difficult. During this journey, I worked on many experimental games. Not all of them were published, but each project helped me gain more experience. Later, I created AERO GAMES, where I published games such as Core Sky, Violent Force, DRK 2, DRK, Farmfolk, Farmfolk 2, Netclash, Solitaire, Galaxy, and Aeroplus. I also started AEROBOOKS, where I explored writing stories and books such as Jason, Rose, Offline, and The Aero. As time went on, my ideas and goals changed. The name Seagreat Studios became AERO GAMES, then GhostByte, and eventually Qirobite™. Each name was part of my journey and helped me learn more about what I wanted to create. The People Who Inspired Me Two people played a big role in my early interest in technology: my mother and my sister. They introduced me to computers and games when I was young. Their influence helped me become curious about technology and inspired me to explore what I could do with it. Looking back, it’s interesting to see how everything started. I went from drawing in a notebook and making stories with toys to learning how to create games using real tools and technology. Today, Qirobite™ is the next step in my journey. I want to keep learning, creating games, and exploring new ideas, including tools and technology that could help other creators and developers. I’m still learning, and I know I have a lot more to do. But I’m proud of how far I’ve come, and I’m excited to see where this journey takes me.
This is only the beginning of my story.

What inspired your entrepreneurial activities?
My mother inspired me to explore technology and become creative from a young age. Her influence helped me discover my interest in computers, games, and creating things of my own. Over time, that interest grew into a dream of building something bigger through Qirobite.
What are the biggest challenges you face in your business?
One of my biggest challenges is my age. Being a 17-year-old CEO while still being a student can be difficult because some opportunities and services are not easily available to young people. For example, I want to publish my games on the Google Play Store, but age requirements can make the process more challenging. Balancing school, time, and building Qirobite is also not always easy, but I continue to learn and work toward my goals.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years, I hope to have grown Qirobite into a technology company that develops its own products. One of my biggest dreams is to explore building our own technology and computer chips. I know it will take a lot of learning, time, and hard work, but I want to keep pushing myself to make that dream possible.
How can customers contact you?
