I have a small brand for t-shits it is called Candy Crush.
I developed this new idea a few days ago but I am short of capital to start my business.
What inspired your entrepreneurial activities?
I am a Deputy Head Girl at my school which is Zwelibanzi High School.Next year I plan to pursue my studies at a higher institution like Wits because I want to be a chemical engineer in future. What inspired me is that my mom does not have a job and she is a single mom with 5 kids with me being the first one.I want to make money using my leader’s skills so that I can provide for myself and also my younger siblings , with 3 in primary school and one in high school.
My younger cousin has a perfume business.He sell perfumes.He inspired me to start one too.
What are the biggest challenges you face in your business?
The capital to start my business.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Having my own store selling clothes of my brand.
