What inspired your entrepreneurial activities?
What inspired me is my natural curiosity about business — I’ve always been the kind of a person who wants to know how money comes in, how money goes out, how businesses operate and how things actually work.
Growing up in South Africa, I saw the reality no jobs for youth, nothing being done and young people dropping out of school with no way forward that gap bothered me.
So I decided not to wait until I founded MAGULA GROUP in 2025 at 16 years old to close that gap and bring young people together.
I run two divisions, AM PRISTINE FACILITY MANAGEMENT and MAS Admin Solutions(MAGULA ADMIN BUSINESS SOLUTIONS) under one Group to prove that youth can build something premium and and professional and to create opportunities for other youth in South Africa especially in Cape Town.
What are the biggest challenges you face in your business?
The biggest challenges I’m facing right now:
1. Age & Registration: I’m 17 so I can’t officially register the company until next year when I turn 18. That limits me from opening a business bank account and bidding for bigger corporate contracts
2. Capital: Starting a Group with two divisions needs capital for equipment (cleaning), branding, data, transport to clients and marketing everything currently comes from my own pocket.
3. Finding the Right People: It’s hard to find other young people who are serious about building. Many want quick money, not long-term growth I want to build a team, but I haven’t found committed youth to grow with yet.
4. Credibility: Because I’m young, some clients don’t take me seriously at first until they see the quality of our work
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In the next 5 years I see myself having finished university and working in the career I study for, while running MAGULA GROUP full-time.
For my company, my vision is to make MAGULA GROUP one of the biggest youth owned groups in South Africa. I want to see real growth from operating in my hometown to serving clients across Cape Town and beyond.
I want us to employ other youth, open opportunities for those who dropped out or have no jobs, and prove that a business founded at 17 can compete with big corporates.
