There is no getting away from the fact that unemployment is a serious problem in South Africa. According to Stats SA, 6.7-million people are currently unemployed in South Africa, which is 29% of everybody who could be working.
However, while we could spend our time being sad, angry or stressed about it, there is a much more proactive solution to this challenge: embracing and educating ourselves about entrepreneurship!
How to awaken the entrepreneur within
Entrepreneurs aren’t born. They are made through the right education, mentoring and an undying passion for an idea. It is the determination to turn that idea (or several ideas) into a reality that drives entrepreneurs to succeed.
If it is your dream to one day start your own business, and in so doing escape the perils of unemployment in our country, the best thing that you can possibly do for yourself is to join an entrepreneurs’ society.
