Meobookssa is a business created by the young self-publisher, Motheo Siphoro. The business deals with distributing books written by a young author and also hopes to encourage other young minds to share their stories whether in fiction or non-fiction.
What inspired your entrepreneurial activities?
As a fan of fictional works, my dream was to one day have my story appear on TV. However, I realized how us south african had limited exposure to the book industry and as such, I decided to make a publishing brand that helps young authors share their stories
What are the biggest challenges you face in your business?
Exposure. Promotion is one of the greatest challenges I face right now as many young authors do not know this opportunity and as such, I would like to put Meobookssa out there to recruit young minds who wish to tell their tale.
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
I see myself managing the company as many young authors get their work featured under the company and their books getting distributed throughout the country and best case scenario, the world.
