Champion teachers dare to disregard the present situation and stay focused on a brighter horizon. When people see uninspired, naughty and poor children; champion teachers don’t see that but see the potential waiting to be unearthed in each learner.

When society revels at broken promises and a challenged economy, a champion teacher bursts into song; knowing that the seeds planted today, must blossom tomorrow. This call is for those who can share hope to budding entrepreneurial teams and encourage dreams, courage and strength to arise at a time like this.

Mentors and coaches are often somewhere in the background when their mentees shine brightly. Likewise, champion teachers are those who are fully prepared to share their wisdom and empower others to run with it. Charlton Davids, a champion teacher from Saxonsea Primary School in Atlantis, answered the call two years ago and has not looked back since.
