Tell us about your business?

Adore Empire is a faith-based teen brand founded by Adore, a 15-year-old Christian entrepreneur. It’s a lifestyle and empowerment brand that helps teenage girls grow spiritually, emotionally, and creatively while staying confident in their walk with God.

What inspired your entrepreneurial activities?

Adore Empire was born from a deep desire to help teen girls like me grow closer to God while also discovering their own unique beauty and strength. As a 15-year-old Christian girl juggling school, church, and personal dreams, I noticed there wasn’t much out there that truly spoke to girls my age—something that combined faith, creativity, and real-life challenges.

I wanted a space and brand that encouraged girls to glow up not just on the outside, but in their hearts and minds too. A brand that celebrates God’s love and power in our everyday lives, helps us build confidence, and reminds us that our worth comes from Him.

My journey started with creating a simple faith journal, Glow Up With God, which quickly became a way for me to express my faith and encourage others. Seeing how much it inspired my friends and other girls pushed me to dream bigger. Adore Empire is my way of building a community and creating tools that support teen girls to walk boldly in God’s purpose for their lives—balancing school, family, and faith with creativity and joy.

What are the biggest challenges you face in your business?

1. Balancing School, Church, and Business

As a student and active church member, managing your time and energy is tough. Schoolwork, youth group, and your business all demand attention, so staying organized and avoiding burnout is a real challenge.

2. Limited Resources and Funding

Starting out, funding for marketing, design tools, and product development may be limited. This can slow growth or make it harder to compete with bigger brands.

3. Building a Consistent Audience

Growing a loyal community of teen girls who trust your brand and engage regularly takes time. Social media algorithms and competing content make visibility a challenge.

4. Overcoming Shyness and Confidence Hurdles

Being an introverted or shy person, especially when promoting yourself and your brand, can feel intimidating. Speaking up in videos, pitching to investors, or networking might be difficult at times.

5. Keeping Faith and Values Central

In the business world, pressure to compromise values for popularity or sales can arise. Staying true to your Christian faith and message while appealing to a wider audience is a delicate balance.

Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

In five years, I see myself as a confident and successful young businesswoman, leading Adore Empire as a thriving Christian brand that inspires and empowers thousands of teen girls across Africa and beyond. I will have expanded my product range with more faith-based journals, digital tools, and creative content that helps girls glow up spiritually, emotionally, and creatively.

I also see myself continuing my education, possibly studying business or communications, while balancing my growing brand and staying active in my church community. My goal is to use my skills, influence, and faith to impact lives positively—helping teens walk boldly in their identity in Christ.

Most importantly, I want to be an example of faith-driven leadership, showing that with God’s guidance, dreams can become reality—no matter your age.
