Tell us about your business?
I grew up with skin problems, from acne to eczema, I have tried countless products that have promised to solve my problems. However what all these products had in common is that they were filled with harsh chemicals and artificial fragrances that only made my skin worse
Growing up it was frustrating to hear my peers talk about that new perfume or cream knowing that I couldn’t use any of those new products
My goal is to provide a safe and inclusive space for girls and boys with sensitive skin to explore the world of skincare without fear of irritation or damage. I want everyone to be able to enjoy the colourful products and cosmetics they love, without damaging their skin
What inspired your entrepreneurial activities?
As a naturally business-minded individual.I have always found myself selling something from snacks, food and even creating gift boxes. I’ve experimented with many different businesses ideas over the years. Although these businesses were cut short I have learnt a lot from each and every business
My latest business venture ( A.M skinary ) stems from my love for skin health. As someone who is deeply interested in dermatology , I have always wanted to learn more about skin and how to promote healthy, Glowing skin in a colourful way
I want to create products that do not only help young individuals but make them motivated to take a shower and not feel left out because others have colourful skin products
What are the biggest challenges you face in your business?
Marketing and getting customers
Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
In five years, I envision myself as a successful entrepreneur, owning a skin care business that is doing well and does not only generate financial prosperity but also allows me to make an impact in my community
My long-term plan is to utilise what I make from my business and open a home for those in need, providing a safe and supportive environment for them
My ultimate goal is to inspire and empower young individuals to be their authentic selves unapologetically. I aim to be a role model.
If everything works out I’ll share my journey and hope to motivate and encourage young people to chase their dreams early
