The greatest day of the SA Teen Entrepreneur community will be unfolding on 19th October. It is the one day when members from across the province and beyond, gather to unearth greatness. Our keynote speaker and Grand Finale judge is none other than Lufefe Nomjana, an entrepreneur who has gained local and international fame as the “Spinach King”.

Separating the great from the good

In as much as all of our budding entrepreneurs are risk-takers and aspiring leaders worth noting, there comes a day of reckoning. This is one of those occasions when the greatest ideas will be celebrated, and the rest can use this opportunity as a shot to self-reflect, celebrate strides made, and improve. It is not an event for the faint of heart, but those who are truly prepared to Awaken the Giant in You.

Not business as usual

Schools which have run Entrepreneur Societies this year will present their business ideas to a panel of judges who will pick the ultimate business idea. But this year there’s a twist! Entrepreneur Societies who previously participated in the programme, but who might not have had an opportunity to present at a Grand Finale, are invited to come and present their business ideas as they battle it out.

Measurement

While no medal can create or take away from a relentless entrepreneur committed to changing their community come what may; we do, however, need events like these to celebrate excellence. It is the day we hear from our youth about how they have identified a niche and matched it with innovative business solutions.
