What exactly does Generation Z want when it comes to surviving high school in higher education and the ideal learning environment? This is something we’ve had to ask ourselves here at Teen Entrepreneur in order to create the perfect learning environment for all our future entrepreneurs.

In short, generation Z, also known as ‘’digital natives’’ are looking for an integrated learning environment. Ideally, this allows for social interaction, guidance, mentorship, direct access to service tools and the use of digital learning tools. In other words, Generation Z wants to learn online in a more social, organic environment, rather than more rigid, institutionalised learning.

This is where the development of our Teen Entrepreneur platform comes into play. Steady progress is being made in its development with thanks to our collaboration with UCT Information Systems student, Jack Shiels.

So, what will this new online platform allow for?

  • The ability to reach a greater amount of learners across South Africa and the African continent
  • Workshops, lessons, and more will be instantly accessible and downloadable onto laptops, tablets, and cell phones
  • Weekly lessons will be available online through downloadable video content

Along with this, our web-based learning management system aims at decreasing turnaround time for communicating content, while providing a space for Teen Entrepreneur to utilise visitor engagement and meet our objectives at the same time.
