Creation of the Teen Entrepreneur Centre and Academy
The need for the creation of a SA Teen Entrepreneur Centre has become the main focus of the recently created Teen Entrepreneur Trust.
The main objectives of the Centre and Academy will be as follows:
- To unlock, cultivate and promote the entrepreneurial spirit in all our Teens
- To provide Teenagers in Western Cape with a process and journey of unlocking the business potential in each of them
- To assist in transforming ideas into businesses and provide all the necessary coaching and mentoring necessary
- Create business network for Teen Business Owners
- To provide Teen Business Owner with a platform to network and discuss with like mind
- Assist Teen Business Owners with a forum for business discussions and brainstorm common issues facing them
- To present Teen Business Owners further opportunity to franchise the various chapters of the network
- To provide a platform where more experienced business experts can present various topics to Teen Business Owners
Funding will be required to realise the above dream and we therefore call for sponsorships to assist us in this mammoth task of giving our teens a vehicle through which we can harness their business potential. A budget of around R8 million (Eight Million Rands) has been drawn.
Project Naming Rights sponsorship:
Sponsorship of R5,000,000 per year for three years sponsor will earn naming rights for 3 year period. In addition they will get mention in all marketing literature and company or products banner will fly on our site for a 3 year period.
Gold = R650 000. For this you will get your company logo on our marketing and material (if received before printing for print literature), Company banner 625 x 80 on our site for a period of one year, and acknowledgement in our presentations.
Silver = R450 000. This will earn you, your company Logo on our site for a period of one year and acknowledgment in our presentations
Bronze= R250 000. This will earn you, your Logo on our website for the duration of one year.
In addition we are always looking for sponsors that will become our business partners in cultivating and promoting the entrepreneurial spirit in our Teens and Young adults. These may range from funding specific equipment for example, computer labs, buildings, and other infrastructure. The following benefits will be available to all our sponsors:

- Free promotional materials stand at all our events
- Top table exhibition space at our events
Sponsorships for candidates to participate at some of our events is particularly encouraged. However, the following sponsorships are welcome:
- Venue Hire fees
- Competition prizes and awards
- Breakfast, lunches and dinner sponsorships
- Scholarships and start-up capital for promising businesses
